Emma Colarte Delgado

My name is Emma Colarte Delgado and I am a current senior at American Heritage School in Plantation. I joined the journalism elective in seventh grade (when it started to be offered) and I continued in eight grade with broadcast as well. My freshman year, I joined Multimedia Production as an introduction to the broadcast team, and even traveled to Long Beach for the Student Television Network (STN). I realized shortly after, I had more of a calling for print journalism instead of broadcast. I joined my school's newspaper elective in sophomore year, and never turned back.​

As Editor-in-Chief, I've helped my staff reach new heights, and I hope to continue with this spirit in college and beyond.
